Problemas con números decimales

Copia y resuelve estos problemas en tu cuaderno y comprueba si te salen los mismos resultados que a mí.

1.  En una boda, cada invitado ocupa 0,6 metros de mesa. Si en cada mesa caben 25 personas, ¿cuántos metros mide cada mesa?

Respuesta: 15 metros

2.  Jennifer cortó 6 trozos de papel de 0,8 metros de un rollo que tenía 20 metros. ¿Cuántos metros de papel quedaron en el rollo?

Respuesta: 15,2 metros

3.  En un supermercado hay una oferta de 3 x 2 lápices a 0,60 euros cada uno, y en otro, al comprar 2 lápices de 0,60 euros, el segundo lápiz sale a la mitad de precio. ¿En qué supermercado tienen  mejor precio los lápices?

Respuesta: En el primer supermercado, ya que cada lápiz sale a 0,40 euros y el segundo sale a 0,45 euros.

4.  El Ayuntamiento mandó plantar chopos en una calle de 693 metros. Si entre cada uno debe haber una separación de 5,5 metros, ¿cuántos chopos se han plantado?

Respuesta: 126 chopos.

PECES (con material reciclado)

La semana pasada estuvimos pescando peces. Primero los hicimos con material reciclado y después jugamos a pescarlos.

No solo jugamos las niñas y los niños de 5º, también lo hiceron de otros cursos. Lo pasamos muy bien.

El trabajo lo hicimos en grupo y lo mejor fueron los días de preparación. No siempre es fácil ponerse de acuerdo pues todos queremos llevar la razón. Pero lo importante es que los hicimos y todo funcionó.

¡Los peces nos los llevamos a casa de recuerdo!

 

The time (La hora)

Para preguntar por la hora en inglés se utilizan estas preguntas:

What's the time? or What time is it?

Siempre se responde:

It's... y detrás se pone la hora y los minutos.

3:00 = It's three o'clock (Son las tres en punto).
3:05 = It's five past three (Son las tres y cinco).
3:10 = It's ten past three.
3:15 = It's (a) quarter past three.
3:20 = It's twenty past three.
3:25 = It's twenty-five past three.
3:30 = It's half past three.

3:35 = It's twenty-five to four.
3:40 = It's twenty to four.
3:45 = It's (a) quarter to four.
3:50 = It's ten to four.
3:55 = It's five to four.

También se puede decir la hora de otra manera, fijándonos en los números tal y como aparecen:

4:20 = It's four twenty.
4:30 = It's four thirty.
4:45 = It's four forty-five.
4:55 = It's four fifty-five.

 Si decimos la hora en una frase y no como respuesta a la pregunta What's the time?, delante se pone la preposición "at".

I get up at seven o'clock. School starts at quarter to nine. We have lunch at ten past two.
